Here is a rare example of a serif font in the workplace. Most of the letterforms on equipment and supplies are sans serif, cold, efficient. If not that, then they are slab serif, strong and powerful. How would you feel if you had to buy some nails for your nailgun and the typeface was zapfino, or even chancellory!? You wouldn't buy 'em, fer sure. It's interesting to see how little things like the typeface on some nails can make the difference between the kind you drive into wood and the kind you glue on your fingertips...
